Came to our screening of Troll 2 (or saw it online) and thought that nothing could get worse? You ain’t seen nothing yet.

Our last screening this summer at Hell Gate Social will be The Room, a movie so atrociously bad that it makes Troll 2 look like a goddamn masterpiece of cinema.

Apparently writer/director/actor Tommy Wiseau spent over 6 million dollars to make and market it, something that is ridiculous when you see the utterly incompetent final product. It seemed destined to never make back its money until some folks in LA realized what a fantastic piece of comedy it really is with the right (and hopefully not sober) audience. Let’s not let LA have all the fun, folks- come to our screening and see the movie for free in Hell Gate’s beautiful outdoor garden!

Check the trailer out for a taste of what to expect-

As usual the film will kick off this Sunday when the sun goes down, usually around 8 or 9 (I haven’t been out much.) The film’s absolutely free but if you like they have an all-you-can-eat bbq starting at 4:00pm and drink deals to get you properly in the mood.

After the screening I’ll be handing out some goodies, and to make up for missing last month’s film due to the plague I’ll have some really great stuff on hand. Let’s just say you might walk away feeling Blu…
