This weekend’s stellar box office tells me that many of you saw Inglourious Basterds, a truly phenomenal film that reasserts Quentin Tarantino as one of the greats of our time. And you probably saw the posters that have been advertising the film, many of which we ran here on CHUD.

What you likely didn’t see was this unused art by James Goodrich. You can check out the complete painted poster – and interview with the artist – at PosterWire.com. I love the look of it, and I especially love the running Shoshanna as almost an Apache figure. I don’t think any of the poster art (including this one) really nails the feel of the movie, but this is a fun alternative, unused concept.
