Based on the true story of the Red Army Faction, a communist terrorist group in Germany in the 60s and 70s, The Baader-Meinhof Complex is finally coming to the US. The film was nominated for Best Foreign Language Oscar and Golden Globe, and it’s making its stateside debut this Friday, when it opens in New York City. The film will then make its way across the rest of the country (one cell at a time!). I haven’t seen the film yet but I hear amazing things, and I’m dying to check out the screener that’s been sent to me.
