I had the good fortune to meet Emily Hagins at Fantastic Fest last year. This young lady is a driven, natural born filmmaker who refuses to let little things like budget or her age (she was 12) get in the way of her making a full length, full tilt, full gore zombie film.
Zombie Girl documents her journey as she tries to get her film, Pathogen, made and shown. It’s funny, it’s sweet and it’s more than a little inspiring. If you’re sitting at home wanting to make a movie, what are you waiting for? If a 12 year old girl can do it, so can you.
