Here’s a new batch of stills from the upcoming PSP/Wii/PS2 Silent Hill game, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories:
A reboot of the original game, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories tracks Harry Mason’s quest to extract his daughter from the titular purgatorial hamlet. Besides the odd inclusion of George and Laura Bush, the images don’t reveal anything too surprising – it’s the same Silent Hill, right down to the flashlights and flesh monsters.
While the game appears to be progressing nicely, it’s a real shame about the unimaginative title. “Shattered Memories” sounds like a rejected V.C. Andrews incest fable. At any rate, expect it on shelves this October.
