After some stuff that went down at the end of this past week, that thankfully ended up in the positive for me, I was happy to have a pleasant weekend. Friday I stayed in until I took Vanessa out to eat, and she brought along her niece since she was babysitting her. Then after I got back, something happened that hadn’t happened to me in a long time. I fell asleep early on a friday. It was around 12:30, and I hit the sack. What was only supposed to be a nap turned into me sleeping for the entire night.
Woke up around mid day on saturday and was at home until around 7 when Vanessa and I hit the town and had some good eats at a buffet place. We killed time until it was time to see Funny People, and of course that flick is a long, so after seeing the last show we didn’t get out until almost 1 in the morning.
Yesterday was spent at home as well, but a great surprise fell in my lap. I’d been looking for a box of c.d.s for quite some time. This box of c.d.s contained quite a few that I’d been looking for for going on a year. I just happened to run across them in the mess that is the second floor of the house that I live in. I went straight to computer and started uploading them to iTunes.
A damn pleasant weekend indeed!
