Every new thing I see for Sony’s District 9 – including the bus stop and bench ads that plaster Los Angeles, and the new poster above – makes me more excited for this intriguing-looking science fiction film. Now there’s a new trailer that starts to show off more aspects of the film’s plot, and I have to say my anticipation levels have reached an all-time high.

It’s got lots of examples of the excellent FX that Weta is doing for this film for a pittance, and I think we’re in for something especially cool in August. I’m hoping that Sony screens this sucker soon; I can’t wait to report back to you guys about it.
