The upside of the trailer for the truly atrocious looking Brothers (Jim Sheridan’s remake of Susanne Bier’s 2004 movie) is that it appears to squeeze just about the entire movie into two minutes or so. If you don’t want to sit through a whole bunch of treacly Hollywood pap and angst featuring actors who consistently bland up the place (do we get excited about Jake Gyllenhaal, Toby Maguire or Natalie Portman anymore? Do we really think people will look back at this decade and see them as major players? I suspect not), directed by the guy who has been throwing his career away over the last few years, they whole thing is here in Cliff Notes.
