If E3 means one thing, it’s trailers for video games! They’re already pouring in. Here is the debut trailer for NIER., a game Cavia (Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, Bullet Witch) is developing for Square Enix.
Boy, that God of War style sure is popular!
In Nier you’re a warrior with the same name as the game (coincidentally enough) who is on a quest to “discover a cure for his daughter, who is infected with the Black Scrawl virus.” Doesn’t seem to be doing much looking in this trailer, just smashing blood-packed shadowy creatures with large edged weaponry, but maybe they do some more interesting things with the setting in the game.
