I’m currently working my way through Zeno Clash, but the game is obviously just what you’ve all been waiting for. Know what’s missing from most games nowadays? Originality. Zeno Clash is a fighting game with an incredibly unique style and plot, and it’s a first person brawler to boot!
I’ll get a review up as soon as I get through it, but developer ACE Team isn’t waiting around. They have a bunch of free DLC on the way, and even better- a sequel! Zeno Clash 2 will continue the adventures of Ghat, who will struggle against new and old conflicts. Father Mother, the mysterious Golem and new characters will be making an appearance in the next title. The story will be set after the events that take place in the first game. ACE Team wants the next installment to be much larger in scope, so the new game will feature open ended gameplay with large explorable environments and RPG elements. The unique melee combat system that made the first game a success will also be expanded to feature even more brutal and engaging gameplay.
For those of you who haven’t experienced the game yet, they’ve released this trailer, showing off some of the gameplay and accolades it’s racked up.
