I haven’t yet had the privilege of seeing Anthony DeBlasi’s adaptation of Clive Barker’s Dread, but everyone I know who’s seen it has raved about it.

The synopsis, for those who haven’t read the fine story from Barker’s second Books of the BloodA philosophy student obsessed by his own nightmares conducts a series of experiments on people to observe their reactions to what they fear most, but soon discovers that these experiments will come back to haunt him.

A promo clip featuring a few interviews with people involved in the production and some footage from the film has just been found. And it looks good. The footage has been around for quite a while, it seems, but it was only recently that someone stumbled upon it on Youtube and emailed all the horror sites.

Let’s hope this isn’t as unfairly treated as Midnight Meat Train.
