Last night I got home after two days on the set of Dead of Night, the movie adaptation of Italian horror comic sensation Dylan Dog. Brandon Routh stars as Dylan, a nightmare detective who deals with all sorts of things that go bump in the night, which in this movie includes vampires, werewolves and zombies – one of which was me! More on that tomorrow, when I bring you my set visit preview, but in the meantime enjoy this first look at Routh as Dylan Dog. You can see that he’s wearing Dylan’s trademark red shirt and black jacket, and that he’s got Dylan’s revolver. Who is he pointing it at? That would be Marcus, played by Sam Huntington (yes, Jimmy Olsen from Superman Returns). He’s replacing the Dylan Dog character of Groucho.
