After being dropped from ActiBlizzard’s portfolio, Double Fine’s Brutal Legend (or Brütal Legend, for those with umlaut-equipped keyboards) seemed a lot like its protagonist, Eddie Riggs: lost in an uncertain and scary hellscape filled with treacherous beasts. Electronic Arts eventually picked up the game, and although there still might be a few publishing knots to untie, Brütal Legend has been officially dated for an October 13th North American release.
