I like the original Fame. I kind of even like the TV show, to be honest. I like singing and dancing, and I like attractive young people. And considering that I’m biased in those ways, I’ll probably like the new Fame.
I’m not sure if it’s a remake or a sorta sequel or a reappropriation of the name and concept, but it does appear to be full of attractive young people singing and dancing. At least that’s what I got from the new trailer, which you can see by clicking here.
One thing I don’t like: the new version of the main song. It’s got too much of that R&B vocal theatrics, loses the melody. Cut that shit out!
Oh, and I think that poster is new. It looks like Coca-Cola AND iPod could potentially sue on this one.
