At the GDC last night Infinity Ward was rumored to be dropping some big and crazy announcement, and to no one’s surprise it was that Modern Warfare 2 is on the way. About damn time. World at War was fun enough and the multiplayer is still entertaining but it’s time for Infinity Ward to show how things are really done.
They showed this fantastic teaser trailer below and have set a date in stone- November 10th.
Everyone on the team is laser focused on making the most gripping experience we’ve ever created,” said Infinity Ward’s CEO, Vince Zampella. “No detail is too small and every finishing touch imaginable is underway to make Modern Warfare 2 our best ever. We can’t wait for our fans around the world to play starting November 10th.”
If you’re thinking that these Call of Duty games are coming way too fast, don’t plan on that changing- Infinity Ward and Treyarch are doing a little leapfrogging, releasing a title yearly.
