Joe Dante got his start cutting trailers for Roger Corman; in fact, that was how he got his first directing gig, the wacky (and half stock footage) Hollywood Boulevard. One of the very first trailers he ever cut was for Candy Stripe Nurses, and now Joe has revisited that for his great, enjoyable website Trailers From Hell. The trailer – with Dante commentary – is embedded below. Be aware that it’s not work safe.

And be sure to visit Trailers From Hell for a whole series of great, vintage trailers complete with commentaries by your favorite filmmakers.
