The image above shows Matt Damon on the South African set of The Human Factor, the latest Clint Eastwood movie. I sort of didn’t believe that was Damon myself, until I took a look at the super high rez versions of the photos that The Bad & Ugly are running. The man’s a chameleon!
Damon is in costume as Francois Pienaar, the captain of the South African rugby team; The Human Factor is about Nelson Mandela in the years after he became president of the once-apartheid country and the lengths to which he went to unite his deeply divided nation. Hosting the 1995 Rugby World Cup was a way of doing that.
