That there’s the “motion poster” for The Haunting in Connecticut, and perhaps if you’re like me it’s the first thing you’ve seen from the film that’s made you interested in it. I’ve seen that trailer a half dozen times in theaters and it sure is a bore…. nevermind that every single audience I’ve seen it with has laughed at the title.
It’s based on the true (yet dubious) events from the Discovery special of the same name of a haunting that happened back in 1986 in… you guessed it, Connecticut. Some poor family was terrorized by a home they had just moved into and instead of just, I don’t know, moving out, they watched their poor son go absolutely nuts.
It hits March 27th so hope for a good ghostly posession story with a few good jump scares, and perhaps we’ll come out alright.
