While they’ve already made their way onto the Wii, most gamers were waiting for this day. It’s been officially announced- Telltale Games will be bringing their first two tremendous Sam and Max seasons to the Xbox Live Arcade.
Better than anything is the fact that they’re being released as downloadable full-season bundles. That’s an awful lot of greatness in each pack. Season one has now been dubbed Sam & Max Save the World, and season two is Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space. Both are better than any other point and click adventure game in years. “With Sam & Max coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade and the approaching retail launch, we’re reaching a larger audience than we ever have before,” says Telltale CEO Dan Connors. “These new releases give us an opportunity to better communicate the imaginative stories that make the Sam & Max games so special, and to strengthen the unique identity of each season.”
They’ve also got Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Adventures on the way to the system, so Xbox adventure fans have plenty to be pleased with.
I honestly can’t wait to check these games out once again, if only to see what crazy achievements they might have. Those of you who have missed it so far have no more excuses! There’s no release date or price just yet but we’ll let you know when we do.
