Spilling forth from the hoary depths of the video game rumor department:
A report from Climax Entertainment suggests that there’s a Silent Hill remake in the works for both the PSP and the Wii, in addition to a “ground breaking next gen game for the PS3 and the Xbox 360.”
Climax Group developed the disappointing Silent Hill: Origins for the PSP, but if this is a straight remake, at least they’re working from a quality template. A Wii-ized Silent Hill could be fun. Fumbling around with a lead pipe just got real!
Details are foggy, but we’ll keep an ear out for any relevant radio squelch as it comes.
