There’s another cool guest programming series happening at Los Angeles’ New Beverly Cinema, and this time it’s Rian Johnson, director of Brick and the upcoming The Brothers Bloom who is doing the programming. And in case meeting Rian and seeing a whole bunch of cool films – all of which are centered around the concepts of cons, scams, frauds and con men – isn’t enough, he’s also going to be doing some amazing raffles and auctions for an AIDS charity.

I can’t say what is being raffled and auctioned off, but I can guarantee to you that it will be items that you can only get here. I’m talking awesome original artwork. Bring some cash!

The first two films include a premiere – The Brothers Bloom will play months before its release! The film is great, and I loved the hell out of it, so you need to be at the New Bev tonight for the 7pm show! And stick around after that for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. As always it’s 7 bucks… for both movies. What a deal.

Visit the New Beverly website for directions and more info.
