I haven’t gotten nearly as much time in on Call of Duty: World at War as I did with Modern Warfare, but when I do, it’s usually all about the zombies. As I pointed out in my review, it’s easily the best mode in the game. There’s just a massive amount of replay value in holding off a horde of the undead, and if it weren’t for Left 4 Dead it’d be the best zombie experience around.
Activision just announced that the mode has now been unlocked for Xbox Live and PSN games in online public matches, and no longer requires you to have beaten the single player campaign to play it.
Also they announced the sweetest words a COD player can hear- DOUBLE XP WEEKEND, where players can enjoy the benefits of ridiculous amounts of XP as they level up their characters. See ya in the trenches!
