He’s the star of Supernatural, the cult hit genre show about two brothers busting ghosts, but now Jensen Ackles is making the move to the big screen. This weekend he headlines the remake of the Canadian slasher film My Bloody Valentine, which ups the gore factor considerably and also ups the ante with one hell of a 3D presentation. Ackles plays Tom, a troubled guy who returns to his hometown 10 years after insane miner Harry Warden cut a bloody swath through all of his friends. When Tom comes back to town the killings begin again, and he has to figure out who is behind the miner’s mask this time.
