While some gamers bemoan that their favorite horror series have started changing into more action-oriented experiences, FEAR fans have never had that problem. The original title did a great job of melding a straight-up first person shooter with some incredibly creepy moments, and while it didn’t succeed all the time (how many goddamn offices can you wander through before it gets boring?) the game on a whole is a pretty captivating experience.

FEAR 2: Project Origin is almost upon us. It hits next month, and this new video that was sent our way today details one of the greatest surprises I had while playing the game at E3 (when they hadn’t yet bought back the title of their game). The mechs are now playable.

Course, this completely changes the gameplay, and who doesn’t love a little Mech action?
