If this fanmade trailer for Thundercats is a satire of the overblown, overserious, overdone world of children’s properties turned blockbuster movies, then I say ‘Huzzah!’ It’s a brilliant riff on the emptiness of these things, as well as the vapid sameness of blockbuster trailers.
But if it’s a ‘serious’ attempt at visualizing a trailer for a Thundercats movie, then I am filled with a deep sadness.
Either way, it’s fun to pick out which footage was used to create this trailer. My favorite note: Galaxy Quest!
