So again, why oh why oh why? The blue-hooded Cobra Commander is arguably the most iconic image from GIJOE, so what does it say about expectations for the upcoming film that the creators/adapters couldn’t be bothered to use it? I mean, it’s a fucking piece of blue cloth for Christ’s sake.

They’ve really only complicated their production with this… this thing. I’ve been waiting for this flick for some time (especially since seeing the teaser) but even having Joseph Gordon-Levitt as old helmet head isn’t going to help that… again, thing.

If the creators were unsure, shit there’s a wealth of information on cowls on the internet. On Wikipedia even. And there’s even some places that will custom make them for you.
My fanboy/nerd alert for this movie just went from Defcon 3 to Defecation 1.
Oh well, at least I can still be Defcon 3 over Jackie Earle Haley signing on to be Freddy Krueger. That is, unless the creators take a cue from the Joe creative team and decide to replace Freddy’s filth-encrusted Red and Green sweater we all know and love so well with a Cosby-esque Coogi instead.
