I gotta admit that Deadpool is really tickling my inner thirteen-year-old (that sounds really bad when I say it out loud) in the best of ways. The marketing team has done an excellent job when it comes to selling the purposeful silliness and playful irreverence that has endeared the character to so many. Whether the film will be any good or not remains to be seen, but between the footage we’ve seen and some other bits of fun marketing (the April Fool’s announcement and this theater standee are definite highlights), I’m definitely sold on checking this out.
We all get to ogle Ryan Reynolds’ tight ass in tights on February 12 (the UK gets it a week earlier).
