Oded Fehr is joining up with Laura Harring and Jill Mare Jones for the new dark comedy, Drool, which was written by Nancy Kissam and the winner of the 2006 Slamdance screenplay competition, according to the Hollywood Reporter.  The story centers on an abused wife (Harring) who accidentally kills her husband when planning to run away with her friend (Jones) and then the two of them have to drive his body across the country.  Todd Williams, Nick Thurlow and John Portnoy are producing through Upload Films.

Fehr is somebody whose work I generally like.  Considering his Mossad background and occasional forays into comedy, I was surprised sandler didn’t snatch him up for Zohan. The most recent Mummy film sure as hell could have used him, although not sure too much could have saved it either way.  He’s most recently been seen on screens in last year’s dreadful Resident Evil: Extinction.  Laura Harring has most recently been in One Missed Call and The Caller, while Jones has done time on The Longshots and Major Movie Star.
