But not in an FF spinoff, thankfully.  Jessica Alba is getting some company for hew new film, An Invisible Sign of My Own, according to the Hollywood Reporter.  Fellow Marvel movie alum J.K. Simmons (Spider-Man) and Chris Messina (Vicky Cristina Barcelona) have been added to the cast.  Invisible follows the story of Mona Gray, a closeted, math-obsessed teacher who starts to come out of her cocoon when a new science teacher gets hired to her school.

Alba has most recently allegedly been seen in the Love Guru (don’t know anyone who saw it to confirm) and is still slated for Sin City 2 in 2010.  Simmons is still logging time on Kyra Sedgwick show, The Closer and was most recently in Burn After Reading.  Messina was most recently in Made of Honor.

The indie film will be directed by Marilyn Agrelo and produced by Jana Edelbaum, Lynette Howell, along with screenwriters Pam Falk and Mike Ellis through iDeal Partners and Silverwood Films.
