We’re proud to be hosting a behind the scenes clip from the upcoming DVD release of Sukiyaki Western Django, Takashi Miike’s bizarre and exhilarating mash-up of Westerns and Samurai movies. The collectible Steelbook DVD (and Blu-Ray, with BD Live features!) hits stores on November 11.
This clip is from one of the special features on the DVD, and it doesn’t mince words, saying that Miike set out to make the greatest film in the history of Japanese cinema, and to return Japan to the top of the cinematic heap.
