The Hollywood Reporter has it today that scribe George Nolfi, who worked on the script for Bourne Ultimatum, with Scott Burns and Tony Gilroy, has been resigned to also pen the upcoming Bourne 4.
This makes sense that obviously Nolfi had added something of value to Ultimatum to get a credit. What doesn’t make sense is that there’s no mention if either Burns or Gilroy will also be returning. A quick check of their respective IMDB pages shows that Burns is attached, but Gilroy is not.
Gilroy is currently working on the Julia Roberts / Clive Owen Duplicity and the Russell Crowe / Rachel McAdams State of Play, so he may have been too busy. There’s no word on the seeming disconnect of info re: Burns.
