Last night at Fantastic Fest I got into a boxing ring and debated Todd Brown of Twitchfilm. We were one of four debates that night. Why were we in a boxing ring? Simple: whichever debate ended closest to a tie, according to audience applause, would be completed by fisticuffs in the squared circle.

This is what Fantastic Fest is all about.

But I’m getting ahead of myself; that was my third day at the Fest! This entry is about day two. It’s a little bit late because there were some technical kinks to work out – this is still new territory for us here at CHUD, after all. Which explains why this entry is an epic ten minutes. But stick it out – there’s something at the end that I think is pretty funny.

This time I’m talking about three films:

The Man From Hong Kong
I Think We’re Alone Now
Santos
