I rarely see anything twice in theaters these days (I rarely see anything again on DVD, either. I’m not consciously doing a Pauline Kael, I just don’t have the time), but I’ll be seeing Brothers Bloom again this evening. It’s just that damn good.
And in that vein, I’m proud to have two exclusive pictures from the film to share with you. So I get to see the movie again tonight, but you guys are going to have to wait a little longer. Summit has wisely moved the picture back, opening small on December 19th and then wide on January 16th, 2009. That’s a big bump from October 24th, but I think it’s worth it, and I think it puts the film nicely into Oscar contention.
