Screen Rant has some of the first official images for the upcoming Stephen Chow-produced Dragonball (sans Z) movie, a franchise whose time has all but come and gone, at least here in the states. And these photos? Yawn. At least there would be something to talk about if the look of the film at least gave the impression that it was riffing off of the cartoon’s style. For my money, the only lifelines this flick has to hold onto are James Marsters and Ernie “That’s a Big Twinkie” Hudson. On a side note, Chow Yun Fat, can we just forget about everything you’ve done since Hard Boiled? I prefer to remember the good times.

Also, Coming Soon is reporting that the Dragonball trailer will be attached to Max Payne (another movie past its prime), opening October 17th.
