The rumors began a few days ago with a mysterious tweet from Lynch, but today it’s confirmed: Twin Peaks is coming back. In what capacity we don’t yet know*. But from this teaser video, we know that it won’t be ’til 2016, and whatever’s gonna happen will happen on Showtime.
*EDIT: According to Deadline, Showtime will air nine new episodes, all written by series creators David Lynch and Mark Frost, all directed by Lynch. The show is expected to be set “in the present day”, and will “continue the lore and story of the original series”. Sounds good to me!
