There are a lot of things I like about Hell Ride, Larry Bishop’s throwback to the AIP biker pictures of the 60s. I like how audacious it is with its sex and violence. I like how weird it is. I like how the stamp of Quentin Tarantino is all over the thing. I like how funny it is. But mostly I like that the whole film feels like something Larry Bishop made so he could feel up the maximum number of naked broads. I really, really like that. There’s no better reason to make a movie.
Coming Soon has the red band trailer for the film (Coming Soon? Really, Dimension? This is a movie that should have had its red band premiere on a cool site. No dig on Coming Soon – it’s just that those kids are squares), and it captures a little bit of Hell Ride‘s unique lunacy. Check it out and get excited for this movie.
