With a little over two and a half weeks now until M. Night Shyamalan’s latest, The Happening, hits your local multiplex the folks distributing the pic over at Fox and Spyglass Entertainment have finally got off their butts and added a little something to its official site.
Nothing like waiting until the last minute, eh?
If you head on over there you can check out the usual: wallpaper downloads, synopsis, desktop icons, cast and crew, galleries and yada, yada, yada. You guys know the drill, I’m sure.
Also, if you haven’t already, don’t forget to check out the nasty little red band trailer, too. After seeing it (and reading some early reports about the film) something tells me this is going to be Shyamalan’s meanest little number yet. Definitely has a mean streak to it in the trailer, anyway, and makes me rethink mowing the lawn anytime soon.
Opening on June 13 (yes, that is a Friday) The Happening revolves around a young family that goes on the run from a strange phenomenon that’s threatening not only humanity, but one of humanity’s most important and primal instincts: survival.
