JustJared, the site that would kill Green Lantern in no more than three pageviews, has some early snaps from the set of Woody Allen’s latest. The follow-up to this September’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona is as yet untitled and, in true Woody Allen fashion, details remain mostly under wraps. We know that it represents his return to New York City after a multi-picture sabbatical abroad, and that Allen will share the screen with the likes of Evan Rachel Wood and Larry David.
Geeks take note: if Evan Rachel Wood’s Rainbow Brite workout wardrobe isn’t lure enough to sell another of Allen’s old man / young girl simulations, consider that this one is shot by the great and tastefully bearded Harris Savides. That’s enough to secure my ticket, period. (And come on, Larry David working with Allen? How can that not be at least a little bit fun?)
