Telltale has finally spilled the beans on what their new project for Wii Ware is, effectively negating one of the questions of our Sam and Max contest.

Strong Bad.

Yes, the Homestarrunner.com series already immortalized in video game form with the TROGDOR! song in Guitar Hero will be getting its own episodic series (a first for consoles) called Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People. Much like Sam and Max this will be a 5-part epic, released monthly on the Wii’s new downloadable service in June.

Strong Bad has this to say- “”Telltale has been rejecting my ideas for green text adventures for years, but we finally reached a compromise with this puffy 3D point-and-click-em-up adventure. They claim all the coding was done with green text, so I guess that’s pretty cool.”

Telltale is working closely Strong Bad creators Matt and Mike Chapman on all aspects of the production. In it,  the player uncovers each episode’s comedic plot through character interaction, dialogue-based puzzles, and the use (and abuse) of inventory items. In addition, each episode will be crammed with time-wasters to keep players poking around in the world, including Strong Bad emails to check, prank phone calls to place, and mini-games styled after the arcade games on the Homestarrunner.com website.

Later on today (at 1:00 Pacific Time) a trailer and screenshots will be appearing online at the site– check back for an update!
