April Fool’s is the day once a year where everyone on the internet tries to take you for a ride. Sometimes, that can be awful (bloggers making HUGE announcements about movies, shows, books, their careers) and sometimes it can be this trailer for Pineapple Express 2, which is actually a clever ruse for This is the End: a film starring James Franco, Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride and Craig Robinson as fictional versions of themselves all holed up in a mansion after the apocalypse. Synopsis after the trailer, but this is likely the closest we’ll ever get to a Pineapple followup, so take a puff and pass the dutchie to the lefthand side:
The comedy This Is The End follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside.
