This first look at the Hancock one-sheet isn’t ideal — it’s shot in the wild, so there are some details obscured and missing. But is Sony trying to capitalize (subconsciously at least) on the success of I Am Legend by having the tone of that movie’s advertising reflected in Will Smith’s glasses? I do like the grizzled look, but I’m not sure at all what his expression is supposed to be (loaded? contemptuously aloof? constipated?) and even though it gets the point across, vaguely, the tagline trio has got to change.
