A few months ago at Comic-Con, Pixar panel attendees got to see most of a reel of Wall-E (I’ve already raved about it) and evidently most of that footage was recently run in Austin during Butt Numnb-A-Thon. If either of those venues proved too far to travel, MySpace is your new friend; that’s where the Wall-E trailer has gone online as an exclusive.
Hopefully there’ll be a high-def version soon (this movie screams for it) but for the time being this is a suitable look at what some lucky few have known for a while now. You can hear Ben Burtt’s sound design (a little of it) and even in the reduced image size see just how amazing the animation looks.
Gotta love the use of ‘Brazil’ as a theme, too, even if it’s just for the trailer.
