Remember all the speculation and excitement about the title for the JJ Abrams-produced monster movie codenamed ‘Cloverfield‘ or ‘1-18-08‘? And remember when we found out the title was… exactly what we’d been calling it for months and months? The new poster for that movie is just like that – it’s a poster we’ve already seen, but with ‘Cloverfield‘ pasted on it.
While I have your attention I’d like to make my prediction on just how bad this film will be. I predict that the movie will be 95% annoying 20somethings with video cameras running around, 3% small monsters or mutated humans and 2% giant monster. The movie’s budget is around 30 million dollars – anyone walking into this movie expecting large amounts of carnage, destruction or monster action will be sorely, sorely disappointed.
