This is more non-news than anything else, but if you want me to start inventing excuses to run quotes from Michael Bay I can do so, right after I finish this bottle of Basil Haydens.

Evidently Bay thinks they gave too much away to the web, and therefore to Transfans*, while making the first Transformers movie. For part two, expect a steady and deliberate flow of mis-information.

"We’re going to leak a lot of false information all over the place," Bay told Rotten Tomatoes. "I now know their game. They’re going to get a lot of script treatments that they think are going to be the script. They will never see the script. We’ve got scripts and treatments written up that we’re going to leak. No one’s going to know." Bay claims there’s already one fake in circulation.

Bay was working overtime in anticipation of the writer’s strike, hammering out a draft with Alex Kurtzman, Bob Orci and Ehren Kruger. "We have three very good writers," he says. Obviously the flow of misinformation isn’t just limited to scripts and treatments.
