The Nutshell
After having solved the mystery of her friend Lilly’s murder and who supposedly raped her at a party in Season 1, and the mystery of who caused a busload of schoolmates to careen off of a cliff in Season 2, teenage super sleuth Veronica Mars (Bell) is embarking on all new mysteries as she enters college. With issues from previous seasons mostly resolved, including her on again, off again relationship with Logan (Dohring), Veronica is looking for a fresh start but immediately becomes involved with three mysteries spread out over the whole season. The first involves her solving the case of the Hearst College rapist, the second mystery is another murder, and the third (and subsequently final) mystery is another murder, involving Sheriff Don Lamb getting offed.
