Check this out! It’s the long-awaited trailer for Pain & Gain, Michael Bay’s step back from the world of CGI and great big robots to spend some time with great big bodybuilders who decide they want a little bit more from life and are willing to steal from Monk to get it. Mark Wahlberg is in the kind of role he does best (You don’t know what I can do!) and The Rock looks to be stretching his comedic wings a bit with a more dry, demure character. I love it, and I’m excited to see Michael Bay fix all of his powers (and he has many) on a slightly more restrained canvas that’s actually about telling a story.
This is legitimately among my most anticipated films of 2013. How’s it look to you?
