Either Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs or both probably still sit among your favorite few Quentin Tarantino movies, so I assume any given film fan would be interested in seeing them in theaters, no?

Well now’s your chance- in celebration of the new, awesome 20-Year Anniversary box set Lionsgate is putting out there, a Fathom Event will put both Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction back in theaters on December 4th and 6th respectively. You can get the full details below, but naturally there will be some specially curated trailers and other fun extras.

Per usual, it’s tough to fully endorse a Fathom Event without knowing up front what kind of release this will be, but my fingers are strongly crossed that it’s a full-out 4k release (I’d bank more on an HD stream though). In any event, even at less-than-ideal quality it will still be quite the experience to see these films with a full, enthusiastic audience. That’s not a common opportunity, so mark your calendars…
