Did Summit not see the dailies that were coming out of Alex Cross? Based on a series of books from hack novelist James “How Fast Can We Turn This Into a Movie?” Patterson, this barely looks like a film. It looks like Tyler Perry trying to keep his composure after he stumbled upon Matthew Fox making another one of his home movies. In fact, if it is indeed that, Alex Cross has just shot to the top of my “most anticipated” list. Seriously though, this is ass:
