After a number of missed connections at festival and screenings in different places, I’m in a really tough place with V/H/S- do I go ahead and check this damn thing out on VOD, or wait till October 5th and do the full theater experience?
Tough choice with this kind of film, and it’s made even tougher by the effectiveness of this new red-bandish clip. Scary stuff…
I believe this clip is taken from the final segment of the film, which features five interlocked shorts from Ti West, Adam Wingard, Glenn McQuaid, Radio Silence, David Bruckner, and Joe Swanberg.
You can keep up with the film on the Facebook page and, again, it’s available right this minute on VOD in preparation for a theatrical run next month. Here’s the full trailer, which I realized I’d never actually seen before now. This is telling of how strong the buzz for the film is and has been for months, as its definitely been in a presence in my mind without actually having seen any material!
