Want to see Dredd, Cyclops, Bullhead, and some TV dudes be terrorized by someone out to get them because of the super private sex apartment they set up together? Like the sound of a killer who leaves behind puzzles in blood? Want a film full of two-dimensionally vindictive wives, girlfriends, and sex objects? Not so much?
Well how about some tits and ass to sell you!
The Loft is the US remake of a Belgian film by its original director, Erik Van Looy, which ensnares Jarmes Marsden, Karl Urban Wentworth Miller, Eric Stonestreet and Matthias Schoenaerts in the tale of five guys whose affair conspiracy goes wrong. They are joined by Rhona Mitra (Underworld), Rachael Taylor (The Darkest Hour), Isabel Lucas (Red Dawn), and Margarita Levieva (Adventureland) as various wives, girlfriends, and/or dead bodies.
The film lacks a distributor but definitely has a strong cast despite its DTV feel. Apparently the names involved are not felt to be enough to grab attention, as this shameless trailer full of naked ladies attests.
